Except for myself and Rajeev, no one joined the conference call tonight. C'mmon guys, we need some action here. We all ought to participate in these calls. Writing emails, coming and posting I am in is not going to help. We have to take actions here. I will set up a conference call on another day next week and please make sure you all attend.

All if we do not participate actively in the state chapter activities we will only be hurting our chances for the bill next year. It is every easy to write long posts and several posts on the IV forum about ideas and thoughts but all this does not really help. What helps is the real work -- Meeting lawmakers. Forum is just a tool for us to communicate and share views. Pls all actively take part in chapter activities and attend the next conference call.

When prominent business houses like Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Oracle and organizations like AILA seem powerless when it comes to influencing senators, lawmakers and government organizations like USCIS and DOS, what can IV team do to change the policies. Sorry I did not mean to criticize, but that's the truth, unfortunately!

Welcome to IV. Yes, the odds are overwhelming but not impossible. A small glimmer of hope is enough to bring thousands of like minded people stuck in retrogression and backlog to IV. I use to share your skepticism. Not anymore, IV has achieved a lot. I won't go down the list but lot more needs to be done, for that we need more members, to become more influential and effective.

It�s my mistake, I always thought that Mr NoJoke will post something nice but you disappoint me all the time. Henceforth I will stick to your advice.
Some ROW folks here suddenly are saying that they like country cap quotas and there are against IV agenda.Why in the first place there should be a country cap on EB immigration ? Is it not the best and brightest in the world ? If there is FIFO implemented, how can a person in ROW will be effected by India and China as long as they meet the standards and file their petition on time.
