Through the use of GDI, Gamma 1.6-liter engine gives the peak output is estimated 138 horsepower at 6300 rpm and maximum torque of 123 lb.-ft. at 4850 rpm. But GDI only part of the story as new Gamma also features Dual Variable Valve Timing continuous, electronic throttle control, roller timing chain, variable induction and innovative anti-friction coatings such as Physical Vapor Deposition CRN (PVD) coating and Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) layer.
